In this episode, Dr. Chris Phelps lets us in on one of his most effective uncommon marketing strategies! This strategy involves nurturing a close relationship with local businesses in your area and helping them get more customers. Dr. Phelps visits his favorite local businesses and asks if they would be willing to honor a gift card for an agreed upon amount for all patients coming from his practice. This is a win win, offering value for his patients, customers for the local business, and rapport among the community. Dr. Phelps overcomes any reservations that the local business has by offering to pay for any patients that come in and do not spend more than the gift card's value.
